| Abstract: | The features of new words in contemporary Chinese are as follows:increase in number of the borrowed words,great inflow of words from Hong Kong and Taiwan, abundant growth in the use of terminology ,group usage of new phrases .Through these new linguistic phenomena, people can feel the close relationship between language and society. |
