| 摘 要： | 认知语言学认为隐喻是人类基本的认知活动,而空间隐喻在人类的认知活动中扮演着重要的角色,许多抽象概念都必须通过空间隐喻来构建。结合大量的语料,从认知语言学的角度系统地对比分析了空间维度词＂深＂在英汉两种语言中的隐喻投射。结果发现：英汉两种语言中＂深＂的隐喻投射主要集中在时间域、颜色域、社会地位域和程度域。

| Abstract: | Cognitive linguistics holds that metaphor is a basic cognitive activity in human＇s daily life and spatial metaphor plays an es-sential role in our cognition and many abstract concepts are constructed through spatial metaphor.This paper,from the cognitive per-spective,proceeds a systematic investigation of spatial dimensional term ＂ deep＂ in both English and Chinese based on data.The re-search finds that the metaphorical mappings of ＂ deep＂ mainly cover the domain of time,color,social status,and degree. |
