| Abstract: | It has caused a bigger impact in the whole nation since the Xi'an Atlas is published. And it is discussed that the Xi'an Atlas is compiled on its features such as purpose,charac- teristic,quality,basic mathematics,size of Atlas,form,contcnt structure,principle of put- ting in order,geographic base map and compiling technology etc.on overall designing idea of compiling Xi'an Atlas.It will make progress on technical practice and theory basis for urban cartography. |
