| 摘 要： | 本文介绍了一种局域网(LAN)与小型机互连方法及在此基础上设计实现的DEICS系统。在这种主从式结构的互连中,LAN中每个工作站均可以作为小型机的终端使用,从而可以方便地共享小型机及其它相连机丰富的软、硬件资源。在此基础上,提高了联机检索数据库和多个局域网互连的思想。

| Abstract: | The paper describes a method of interconnecting the LAN to a minicomputer. DEICS is a system for interconnecting ETHRNET to the DPS6 computer whleh isimplemented based on the method. In such a master/slave interconnecting system, every workstation of the LAN can be used as a terminal of the minicomputer. As a result, the workstation may share the rich resources of the minicomputer. The interconnecting system can also support the on-line retrieve of databases and the interconnecting of several LANs |
