| 摘 要： | 动物基因资源是21世纪的一种极其重要的战略资源．基于海南的省情，对我省丰富的动物基因资源进行保护和利用具有重大意义．目前，海南动物基因资源保护的现状非常严峻，海南黄牛、海南坡鹿等具有海南特色的动物品种均面临着基因资源（决定诸多优良性状）可能丢失的窘境．建立基因资源库，既可以保护海南动物基因资源，又可以通过对海南动物的种质资源进行系统收集、整理、评价、开发、利用和创新，为品种种质资源的保存和品种改良提供遗传学资料和良好的原始材料，实现品种保护和品种改良的有机结合，最终达到高效开发和利用海南热带特色动物基因资源，提升我国热带地区优势生物资源竞争力的目的．
