空间NURBS曲线的双圆弧逼近

摘    要:给出了用双圆弧样条来逼近空间NURBS曲线的方法.先用折线逼近NURBS曲线,再在给定误差限内用双圆弧样条来逼近折线.在误差估计中,给出了空间线段与圆弧的距离表达式,以此来求最大误差.该方法能在给定误差限内以尽量少的双圆弧段数逼近NURBS曲线,适合数控加工等方面的应用.

Abstract:A method for approximating arbitrary space NURBS curve with biarcs is presented. The main idea is to approximate the NURBS curve with a polygon, and then to approximate the polygon with blares within the required tolerance. In order to estimate the error, a formula for the distance between a line segment and an arc is established, and then the largest deviation distance is found. The method can approximate a NURBS curve by fewer biarc segments in the given error bound. And this is useful in the application of CNC and so on.
