| Abstract: | In this paper, mainly based on making use of a series of mathematical geological ways, for example, factor analysis (R-mode and Q-mode), correspondence analysis, discrimiant analysis and cluster analysis, etc. , it is made in detail for research and exploration on siliceous genesis of the Permian in the Lower Yangtzei River Region.Stratiform siliceous rocks form Gufeng Formation, Yinping Formation and Dalong Formation were the biochemical sedimentary genesis, chiefly from siliceous organism (e. g. Radiolaria and Spongioid) , and it may be a shallow water genesis. Even-beded chert layers in limestone were of replacement origin, and.chert nodules in limestone formed by .the diagenetic reorganization of silica. |
