摘    要:提出了一种适用于大规模地形绘制的模型,将地势起伏的因素纳入LOD(Level of Detail)的评价准则中,提升了地形绘制的效果.对地形块进行层次划分,并解决了地形裂缝、突变等问题.绘制结果显示,该算法较以往的算法有较大的改进,有效地解决了绘制速度与质量之间的矛盾.

Abstract:A rendering model for large terrain was presented.The undulating factor of LOD(Level of Detail) was incorporated into the method to enhance the effect of terrain.Terrain patch was classified to several levels and re-organized grids were used to solve the terrain cracks,popping and so on.The results show that our algorithm is better than those pervious works,and can effectively solve the inconsistency between the rendering speed and quality.
