摘    要:动机在外语学习中起着十分关键的作用,因此研究学生的学习动机非常重要。基础差学生学习动机不强烈的原因主要表现在外语基础差、成就动机和志向水平低以及归因不利等方面。因此教师在教学中应采取相应策略来激发学生的学习动机,如加强学生学习目标性指导、教授学生有效的学习方法并培养他们良好的学习习惯等,从而提高他们的学习成绩,实现差异教学的真正目标。

Abstract:Motivation plays a leading role in foreign language learning,which makes it very important to study the students' learning motivation.The reasons for the weak motivation of the low-proficiency students in foreign lan- guage learning mainly lie in such aspects as:poor English foundation,low achievement motivation,incorrect at- tribution,etc.So English teachers should take some relevant strategies to motivate these students,e.g.guiding students' goal-setting,teaching students some efficient learning methods,cultivating students' good learning habbits and so on,thus realizing the real goal of the level-based teaching.
