Abstract: | The orientation degree, crystal structure and surface morphology of the antimicrobial polypropylene fiber, modified with ABD2, have been studied. When the content of antimicrobial agent is lower than 1.5%, ABD2 shows little effect on the orientation degree and surface morphology but influences the crystal structure. With increasing the content of ABD2, the antimicrobial fiber is easy to form into a-crystal while the crystallinity changes little and the varia-tion of crystallite size does not follow apparent regularity. |
