加快推进国防和军队现代化

为贯彻落实党的十八大报告提出的“加快推进国防和军队现代化”的任务要求，文中提出，一是要深刻认识加快推进国防和军队现代化的成就基础，二是要准确把握加快推进国防和军队现代化的新思想新要求新任务，三是要从进一步加强思想政治建设，切实加快转变战斗力生成模式，坚持不懈地拓展和深化军事斗争准备，大力发展新型作战力量等方面入手，加快推进国防和军队现代化的步伐。

Accelerating the modernization of national defense and the armed forces

In order to implement the task of accelerating the modernization of national defense and the armed forces-the task that is given in the CPC Eighteenth National Congress report, this article points out what must be done as following （1） the deep understanding of the basis of achievements on which to accelerate the modernization of national defense and the armed forces~ （2） the serious imple- mentation of the new thoughts, requirements and tasks in this process; （3） the improvement of politi-cal and ideological work, the transformation of the mode of generating military combat effectiveness, the enhancement of military preparedness and the development of new-type combat forces to speed up the modernization of national defense and the armed forces.
