先秦儒学对先秦文学的理性规范

先秦儒学是以孔子为代表的政治伦理思想。它具有实践理性的精神。作为当时的“显学”,它对社会意识形态和人们的日常行为规范都产生了巨大影响。其对先秦文学的影响主要表现为:一、人为地对原始神话进行了割裂和改造,使之伦理化,政治化和历史化;二、对《诗经》也进行政治伦理化的阐释,使之负载儒学家们政治教化的使命。屈原的作品虽因产生较晚缺少先秦儒学的阐释和评论,但后儒还是从“发乎情,止乎礼”等原则出发,对其人及作品进行了评点。

Rational Normalization of Literature under the Influence of Pre- Qin Confucianism

Pre-Qin Confucianism refers to the whole thinking system of politics and ethics before Qin Dynasty, with Confucius as its representative personage, practicality and rationality as its essence. As the dominating doctrine of the time, it has made a tremendous impact upon both social norms and social ideology. Its influence on Pre - Qin literature is highlighted primarily in the following ways: Firstly, ethicizing, politicizing and historizing primitive myths through either intentionally garbled account or even re - creation; secondly, expounding "The Book of Songs" with an obvious tendency towards politicization and ethicization, thus trying to advocate its own points of view on politics. In addition, although almost no elaboration and comments were made on Qu Yuan's works by Pre - Qin Confucians by reason of its appearance, yet those Post - Qin Confucian scholars, on the principle of "start with passion but stop before going too far," did cast quite a few notes and remarks on his writings as well as the author himself.
