| Abstract: | (1)The effect of various anions,namely halides,nitrate,sulfate,phosphate, formate,acetate,oxalate,tartrate and citrate on the rate of migration of the ferric,cupric,cobaltous and nickelous ions have been studied by means of ascending paper chromatography using acetone:HC: water(90:5:5)as developing solvent and rubeanic acid as spraying agent.
