| 摘 要： | 用概念隐喻作为理论框架对英汉时间谚语进行对比分析。研究发现,英汉时间谚语都能被归入"金钱""人""实体"及"动体"这四个隐喻概念且呈系统性。英汉时间谚语的不同表达反映出英汉文化背景下人们对于时间的理解不同,因而体现出文化一致性。

| Abstract: | A contrastive analysis of English and Chinese time proverbs is made from a theoretical perspective of Conceptual Metaphor. The results show that both English and Chinese time proverbs are systematic and culturally coherent. This enriches people＇s understandings of time and helps with crosscultural communication. |
