中国—东盟自由贸易区建成后必将有利于促进双边经济贸易的发展,提升双方的国际地位,减少区域内经济对外的过度依赖与波动影响,推动人民币国际化进程,推动世界经济的复苏等。但中国—东盟自由贸易区建立后仍然面临领土纷争、政治分歧,竞争在某种程度上来说不是减弱而是加剧,非关税壁垒在一定程度上会取代关税等挑战。

Opportunities and Challenges Brought by China-ASEAN Free Trade Zone

China-ASEAN Free Trade Zone will undoubtedly promote the bilateral trade,enhance the international status of both sides,reduce the extreme dependence on external factors and influence,push RMB onto the world stage and fuel the recovery of world economy.However,troubled by territorial disputes and political differences,the competition in some way has been intensified rather than weakened.As a result,the tariff barriers may be replaced by non-tariff ones.
