| Abstract: | The article reports the epidemic law and environmental control of the myiasis of ldiella tripartita. Based upon the results of the observation of ecology,control measures of flies were proposed. Two methods of envi ronmental control may be used. The first method: Pigsties are reconstructed to prevent the flies setting in pigsties. The second method: the dirt and straw are changed frequently, and the floor is washed daily. Such work has been done in Xianyou district of Fujian province during 1994. The control of the myiasis was successful; 183 of the 187 pigsty achieved good results. |
