| Abstract: | This papar discusses the gravitational gauge invariance of the
energy densities difined by various expressions for the energy-momentum of
the gravitational field in the linear and exact gravitational waves.It points
out that in both cases only the covariant traceless energy-momentum tensor
gives the energy densities which are gravitational gauge invariant. |
