| Abstract: | Equilibrium solutions for a flexible beam under a large linear motion with the principal parametric resonance of the first natural mode of the system are investigated. Using the stability analysis, the center manifold theory and normal form theory, bifurcations leading to the initial equilibrium solution and static bifurcation solution and their stability conditions are investigated. |
