《尔雅》研究述要

《尔雅》是我国训诂学的奠基之作,也是我国第一部具有百科性辞书性质的语文应用词典。自它问世以来,以迄于今,学者们的研究一直未曾停止。在古代,从两汉迄至明、清,研究《尔雅》的著作甚多,但都是围绕着词义的注释和考证,或是文字的校勘和辑佚,大抵不出训诂学之范围。自清末以后至现代,《尔雅》注疏、考释类的研究仍有余绪,且向着更细致、更深入的方面发展;但另一方面,现代学者开始多角度、多方位地从宏观理论上、从方法论上转向对《尔雅》的研究,涉及的范围已不再局限于训诂学,而是扩展到了词汇学、辞书学的领域。

A Research Sketch of Erya

erya,the earliest book on exegetics,is the first Chinese practical dictionary of encyclopedic value.research on this book has continued ever since it came out.however,research work starting form han dynasty up to ming dynasty and qing dynasty was confined to exegetical studies,focusing invariably on annotation and textual research of word meaning or collation and collection of ancieat Chinese characters.from the late qingdynasty to modern times,similar reseach has been kept on with more in-depth efforts.drawing on the approaches and macro theories that once contributed to the book,modern scholars,bycontrast,conduct the research from multi-perspectives,extending the scope from exegetical studies to lexicology and lexicography.
