| Abstract: | The active galactic nucleus （AGN） is believed to be the ultimate energy source of H2O megamaser emission （LH2O 〉 10 L ）, due to its very large luminosity. The OIV] emission line luminosity has been considered recently as an accurate indicator of the AGN intrinsic power. For all published H2O maser galaxies, their OIV ] emission line data are investigated and collected to analyze the AGN power and maser emission. We got the meanOIV] luminosity of 107.09±0. 17 and 10-6.55（ in L ） for all maser galaxies with available data and three kilomasers （ LH2O 〈 10 L ） related to star formation, respectively. No significant difference of the OIV ] luminosity can be found between our H2O maser sample and non-maser galaxies sample. For masers associated with AGN （AGN-masers） , one apparent correlation can be found between the isotropic maser and the OIV ] emission line luminosity, though there is large scatter. Given the fact that AGN is the ultimate energy of H2O maser emission, the correlation supports that the OIV] emission line can well trace isotropically the AGN emission. |
