中国古代志书地图绘制准则初探

中国古代地方志书中的雕版刊印或手摹地图，本文命之为“志书地图”，在中国古代地区国占有很大的比例，除极少数外，都不采用“制图六体”和“计里画方”法则，而是成功地运用了中国传统山水画的某些绘画法则，形成了绘制志书地图的“经营位置”准则。

ON CARTOGRAPHICAL RULE OF THE GAZETTEER-MAP IN ANCIENT CHINESE LOCAL RECORDS

The gazetteer-map, named to the maps published in ancient Chinese local records,constitutes the majority of ancient Chinese maps,nearly all of which were done with the rule of"arranging place",a technique used in traditional Chinese landscape painting,rather than"Zhi-Tu-Liu-Ti(six rules of cartography)"and"Ji-Li-Hua-Fang(distance and square measuring)".Due to the lack of mathematical basis,they became less important in the development of ancient Chinese maps.Nevertheless,they have great vitality because they 'make use of the cartographical skills from ancient Chinese painting,Although the gazetteermaps were not the most important in the development of the ancient Chinese maps,they should be more noticed for their large quantity,wide use and long duration.
