| 摘 要： | 随着802.11g标准草案的推出，802.11系列标准的不断完善及多种802.11a芯片组的面世，必将掀起一轮新的WLAN应用高潮，同时，有关WLAN标准的竞争也将更加激烈。首先，介绍了802.11协议族及最新进展，包括802.11、802.11a、802.11b和802.11g等，然后，对其技术性能进行了对比，并对市场前景进行了预测。

| Abstract: | With the draft of 802.11g standard approved, the 802.11 standard series becoming improved, and the chip sets of 802.11a published, a new application tide of WLAN will be seen, and the standard competition of WLAN will be more fierce. In this article, the IEEE 802.11 standard family and their progress, including 802.11, 802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g are introduced, their technologly and performance are compared, and the market prospect is anticipated. |
