基于语境理论的英语词汇教学探究

摘    要:词汇教学是英语教学的重要组成部分,基于语境理论的英语词汇教学已被越来越多的教师所采用。对语境的定义分类以及语境对词义的作用等一系列问题的回顾和阐述有利于深入探究以语境理论为依托的词汇教学。基于语境理论的英语词汇教学,有利于学生更全面把握词汇的意义,提高运用词汇的能力,促进交际能力的培养。

Abstract:English Vocabulary teaching is the main part of English teaching .Teaching English vocabulary based on the context theory has been applied to English teaching practice. Reviews and demonstration of a series of problems concerning the definition and classification of context as well as functions of context to words are helpful to further studies on English vocabulary teaching in context. Teaching vocabulary in context can assist the students in mastering the meaning, enhance their capability of using the words, and reinforce their ability of using English in communication.
