Key Technologies on Modern Facility Agriculture

Modern facility agriculture is the developed phase of agriculture. It is one of the highly intensive farming with hi tech. The research area,in which biology, machinery, architecture and electronics,etc.are involved,includes such environmental factors as temperature, moisture, light, gas and fertilizer and the cultivating technology for the growth of agricultural products. Therefore, it is also called the plant scale agriculture.This paper discusses its characteristics, present situation and the significance in our economic and social development. Some key technologies of modern facility agriculture suitable for China are put forward here, which provides a basis for the research and development of modern facility agriculture.
