| 摘 要： | 1988年秋至1989年夏.作者参加了由中国科学院自然科学史研究所主持的《中国科学技术史》的《火药史诗》部分的翻译工作.在翻译中查阅了每一条李约瑟博士引用的中文史料.发现了一些错误.有些错误是由于语言障碍,或是由于疏忽.这样一部巨著,出现一些错误是可以理解的.本文的目的是希望这部巨著在将来的修订中,更加完善.本文分三个部分:1. 史料的处理问题.2. 史料中所涉及的地名和战役问题.3. 语言问题和印刷错误.

| Abstract: | I participated in the collective translation work of The Gunpowder Epic in Science and Civiliza-
tion in China by Dr.Joseph Needham.With high admiration for Dr.Needham's profound knowledge
and his tireless efforts to write this monumental book,I made great efforts in checking the sources he
has quoted.Mistakes have been found.I sincerely wish to see mistakes easily corrected in the second
edition.The present essay contains three parts:1. Some problems relating to whether novels are a reliable source or not.2. Problems relating to historical places and military campaigns.3. Some language problems and printing errors. |
