| Abstract: | The Dye Tunable Laser Principle Instriument consits of a N_2 Laser, organic dye, and both a grate and output-mirror. Where the N_2 Laser is used as pump source, the organic dye as Laser material, and both a grate and output-mirror as a resonart cavity. The students will be allowed to install and adjust the instrument and do this experiment by themself, so the students can understand realisticly that if the population inversion has been achieved, the Laser may be producted, and that if the threshold condition has been satisfied, there is the steady Laser output. Otherwise the Laser can not be producted and there is not steady Laser output. Also, the students can know how constitute and adjust the instrument to generate Laser and to obtain the steady output of Laser. |
