| 摘 要： | 文章以认知语言学的原型范畴理论为指导，探讨了英语词汇教学的新理念，提出在英语词汇教学中应当以基本范畴词为核心，重视基本范畴词的学习，重视对多义词中词义变化的讲解、转喻和隐喻的认识，从而提高学生的学习兴趣，提高教学质量。

| Abstract: | The paper, with the prototype theory of cognitive linguistics as a guide, probes into the new ideas of teaching English vocabulary and proposes that the teaching should center around the basic category vocabulary, the teaching of the meaning changes of polysemous words and understanding of metonymies and metaphors, so as to promote students interest and teaching effect. |
