以内蒙古阿拉善盟图书馆为例，探索了新形势下民族地区图书馆利用各种设施和技术条件，开发和利用文献资源，为社会公众提供多元化服务，大力推动延伸服务，培养大众阅读兴趣，提高社会阅读能力，完善公众文化形象的一些举措。

Taking the Alxa Leaugue Library of Inner Mongolia as an example, this paper probes into some measures adopted by the libraries in ethnic minority areas under the new situation for providing diversified services to the public, vigorously promoting the extended services, cultivating the reading interest of the public,improving the reading ability of the society, and perfecting the cultural image of the public by using various facilities and technical conditions.
