| 摘 要： | 指出妈祖天上圣母之称，乾隆末年已在福建出现，稍后台湾亦见此称。嘉庆九年闽商将之传到锦州，道光时该称谓在福建已流布较广。关于敕封妈祖天上圣母诸说乃民间叙事，经不起学理上的深究。

| Abstract: | The Mazu＇s title of Goddess of Heaven has already appeared in Fujian Province during the last years of the Emperor Qianlong. Shortly thereafter, the title appeared in Taiwan. The title of Goddess of Heaven was spread to Jinzhou by the merchant of Fujian Province in 1804 and disseminated in Fujian Province in the period of Emperor Daoguang. The various legends that Mazu was conferred the title of Goddess of Heaven by the imperial government of Qing were full of holes so they were Folk Narration. |
