| Abstract: | Based on the principle of minimum potential energy and the nonlinear geometric equation of the beam element, the geometrical nonlinear stiffness matrices are derived for a three-demensional beam element in this paper. Of these matrices, the large displacement matrix is divided into four and the initial stress matrix into twelve submatrices, respectively. |
