摘    要:在HFC网中,上行频带资源紧张是一个较突出的问题.基于用户各类业务传输存在冗余频带,插空法就是利用这些冗余频带来传输其他业务,提高上行频带利用率,进而缓解其紧张状况.通过对上行信道流通量和信元延迟特性的理论分析和计算机仿真,证实了插空法确实能在不增加频带的情况下提高上行信道的流通量.

Abstract:As the shortness of upstream bandwidth is a prominent problem in HFC network, it introduced a taking redundancy method to increase the utilization of upstream bandwidth and mitigate the shortness circumstance. The bandwidth needed by users to transport variety of traffic was distributed by headend. Some of the traffic classes (such as voice) only use part of their distributed bandwidth,i.e.there exists some redundancy bandwidth. The method used the redundancy bandwidth to transmit other traffic classes. The analysis and computer simulation were provided for the throughput and cell delay of upstream channel. The results show that the method can increase the upstream throughput without adding bandwidth.
