留美生与清末民初中国政治的近代化

清末民初是中国政治近代化进程中的一个重要阶段。以往学界过多关注留日生对这一进程的推动作用,事实上留美生的作用也不容忽视。留美生在清末民初的政坛上占据了重要地位,他们在推进官僚政治的革新及资产阶级民主共和政体的建立方面发挥了重要作用。由于中国近代政治环境的恶劣及其自身的＂美国化＂倾向,留美生对中国政治近代化的推动又带有很大的局限性。

The American Returned Students and the Political Modernization During late Qing Dynasty and Early Republic of China

The process of Chinese political modernization was an important stage during late Qing Dynasty and the Early Republic of China.In the past time,the academics have concerned mainly on the promotion that the Japanese returned students played.Actually,the American returned students' role also can't be neglected.They've occupied the important status in the government and promoted the innovation of Chinese Bureacuratic Politic and promoted the building of the Bourgeois Republics in modern China.But,on the other side,their promotion to Chinese political modernization was limited because of the bad political environment and their tendency of"Americanazion".
