On the American Women's Social Reform Activities At the Turn From the 19th Century To the 20th Century

At the turn from the 19th century to the 20th century, America was in a social transformation period and American women were experiencing major development. Social transformation created historical conditions for women＇ s development which made women walk out from the family to the society, and into the wider cause of reform for the f＇trst time in history. Women＇ s reform not only improved their own position , basically realized the role transformation from housewives to social women and eventually to political women,but also helped solve many contradictions and problems for the smooth realization of social transformation and made contributions to promote social progress.
