论美德的情、理相融之特质

近年来,美德伦理学在西方经历着一次强劲的复兴,但是,它们并没有形成一种共享的美德理论。实际上,道德实践必然既需要理性,又需要情感,而美德必定同时关联着情感和理性。美德理论应该赋予理性在心灵结构中的优先地位,又必须以情感品质的塑造为落脚点。这样的美德理论将能够避免许多道德理论的偏颇,并对现实的道德难题作出调适性的回应。

On Peculiarity of Fusion of Sense and Sensibility of Virtue

Nowadays： virtue ethics has been strongly reviving in Western academic circle, but failed in getting a shared understanding in virtue theory. In fact, moral practice needs both sense and sensibibility while virtues simultaneously are connected with sense and sensibility. The theory of virtue should give reason a priority in the structure of our mind and aim at the cultivation of passional character. The theory of virtue like tiffs will avoid the bias of many moral theories and effectively respond to moral dilemmas in our daily life.
