从《阎锡山日记》看国民党在大陆失败的原因

1949年,阎锡山逃离太原,先是周旋于蒋介石和李宗仁之间充当协调人,后来又于当年6月出任国民党政府在大陆的最后一任＂行政院院长＂。在这年的日记中,他以一个当事人的眼光记述了国民党败退台湾前的乱象：地方长官或逃或降;蒋介石和李宗仁互相争夺最高统治权;同时,国民党政府财政崩溃、贪污成风,内部人心涣散,政府高官们为了权位完全不顾大局,行政机制陷于瘫痪。阎锡山1949年日记表明：国民党的失败是自身体制内长期积累的矛盾以及政府的腐败无能和人心尽失所造成的。

Reveal the Causes of the Failure of the Kuomingtang in the Mainland of China through Yan Xishan＇s Diary

In 1949,Yan Xishan after escaping from Taiyuan,Yan Xishan,fenced between Chiang Kai-shek and Li Tsung-jen as a coordinator,and then in June,he was assigned to be the last president of the ＂Executive Branch＂,he has woked as the president of the Executive Yuan of the Kuomintang government in mainland China.That year,he witnessed the turmoil of Kuomintang before Kuomintang fleeing to Taiwan.All of that turmoil was kept in his diary by himself,including local officials＇ flee and surrender,Chiang Kai-shek and Li Ysung-jen scrambling for the supreme domination,the broken of Kuomintang financial system,prevailing corruption,officials＇ being not of one mind,paralyzed executive system due to government authorities fighting for their own benefits regardless of the overall situation.By collating and interpretating of his diary,we can draw such a conclusion that the Kuomintang＇s failure is resulted from the long-term accumulated contradictions in their own system,the government corruption and incompetence as well as people losing faith on them.
