| Abstract: | The relation between the impulse motion of a floating body on a free surface and its motion response are derived by analytical method.The analytical represen- tations that the motion response functions are determined from the impulse pot- ential and the free surface potential are obtained.The calculations of determining the response function of a floating body will be simplified by means of these re- presentations. |
