| 摘 要： | 词汇不是任意获得新义的，而是通过我们的认知和建构获得的。通过隐喻手段，语言符号意义得以扩大。隐喻为语言的所有方面提供理据。英语动词具有很强的搭配功能，从隐喻认知的角度分析动词的搭配机制及动词隐喻的构成形式，对于更好地理解英语词语语义内涵、掌握词汇运用规则，具有现实意义。

| Abstract: | vocabalary does not get new meaning in an arbitrary way, but through our cognition and forming. By means of metaphor, linuistic symbol meanings are expanded. Metaphor provides semantic ground for every aspect of language. English verbs have strong colocation function. Therefore, analysis of verb collocation mechanism and the forming of verb metaphor from the perspective of metaphor cognition is of realistic significance to get better idea of English semantic connotations of words and master the usages of words. |
