| Abstract: | River basin development has been the world＇s main focus.Tennessee Valley is the comprehensive successful watershed management practice of the federal government.Poyang Lake Ecological Economic Zone is the first China′s approval ecological economic development zone,including the five rivers and the China′s largest freshwater lake,its natural conditions have many similarities with the Tennessee Valley.Comparative study on the successful experience of Tennessee Valley Development provided some useful assistance for Poyang Lake Ecological Economic Zone.Jiangxi province should caught the opportunity of national area planning to develop itself,to form economic interaction and complementarily with neighboring regions,and to promote the Poyang Lake watershed harmonious development. |
