| Abstract: | Obtains some lower bounds for the relative efficienciesof the least squares in Gauss-Markov and variance component models by using constrained Kantorovich inequality are obtained.These lower bounds are much sharper than that obtained by using the unconstrained Kantorovich inequality. |
