| 摘 要： | 乔治.爱略特生活在19世纪基督教思想盛行的时代。她的小说处处可见其基督教思想的痕迹。《弗洛斯河上的磨坊》无论从人物还是语言方面都可以在《圣经》中找到原型。这部小说体现了爱略特"博爱"的基督教思想和作为一个作家的"以道德诲人的"强烈的责任感和使命感。

| Abstract: | George Eliot lived in a time when Christian idea was popular.Her novels imprinted Christian idea everywhere.Archetypes in The Mill on the Floss could be found in the Bible in both approaches of characters and language,and the novel embodied Eliot's Christian idea of "caritas" and her strong sense of responsibility and mission of moral teaching as a writer. |
