| Abstract: | The method of analogy with isotropic plates is put forward and applied to the analyses of large deflection bending and postbuckling problems of orthotropic plates with shearing modulus being G=0.5 Based on this method, equivalence expressions of coordinate variables, loads, deflections, rotations, bending moments and membrane stresses between two different orthotropic plates are derived, and several invariants of equivalentorthotropic plates are derived. |
