Abstract:Magnetic refrigeration features high efficient, energy saving and no environment pollution. Nanostructured materials have excellent properties. Applying the nanostructured materials to magnetic refrigeration and developing excellent nano-refrigerant will be a researching focus in the field of magnetic refrigeration. The principle of magnetic refrigeration and the recent development of magnetic refrigerant, especially nanostructured magnetic refrigerant, are reviewed.
