| 摘 要： | 本文分析了单模极化光纤中线性极化模和圆极化模的传输特性,研究了单模光纤的极化特性对相干检测效率的影响以及对相干系统误码率的影响。同时还给出了单模光纤传输函数曲线,并对PSK相干检测系统与强度调制-直接检测(IM-DD)系统的性能进行了比较。

| Abstract: | In this paper, the transfer characteristics of a single mode fiber for both linear and circular polar-
ization mode transmission are analysed. The effects of single mode fiber polarization characteristics on
coherent detection efficiency and BER of PSK coherent system are studied. (The polarization charac-
teristics of single mode fiber include birefringence, polarization dispersion and polarization mode
coplling.) The curves of single mode transfer function are given. The performance of PSK heterodyne
optical fiber system is further compared with that of IM-DD optical fiber system. |
