摘    要:现代修辞学的“得体”观,体现出语言表达对社会文化背景(即大语境)的关注。其实,任何一种修辞观的出现都不应是孤立的,它既是当代社会文化背景下对语辞修饰的要求.同时又与传统的修辞有着千丝万缕的联系。联系的依据就在于文化的传承性以及由此形成的文化心理的积淀。在我们的传统文化中,《诗三百》所代表的“和美中正,适度中节”的精神是最具典型意义的。考察吕叔湘先生对“适度”与“恰当”原则的论述,我们可以感受到这种文化精神的积淀。

Abstract:The concept of "proper style"in modern rhetorics suggests an eamest concem for social and cultural backgrounds (the great linguistic environment)in linguistic expressions .In fact,the origin of any rhetorical concept is not independent It reflects the requirements of linguistic rhetorics against certain social and cultural backgrounds Meanwhile ,it has countless links to the rhetorical traditions ,The cases of these links lie in the cultural inheritance and the cultural ,psychological deposits therein.In our traditional culture,"The Odes 300" is typical of its "mild and moderate","proper and medium"style .In observing Mr.LuSuxiang's principles of "moderation"and "proper form",we can sense the deposits of such cultural spirits .
