摘    要:随着新学科、新概念、新科技的层出不穷,新术语不断涌现,术语对社会的影响力、渗透力越来越大,人们对社会知识化的渴望与追求日益急切,术语也随之成为教育中不可或缺的一部分。文章从层级性、科学性、通俗性、国际性和民族性等五个方面讨论了术语教育的性质,阐明了术语教育的重要性。

Abstract:New terms are springing up with the emerging of new subjects,new concepts and new technologies,and terms have increasingly influenced on and penetrated into society.Thus,people's desire and pursuit for knowledge-based society is becoming imperative,and terms have subsequently become an indispensable part of education.The authors discussed the nature of term education in five aspects (i.e.,gradable,scientific,popular,international and national aspects),and clarified the importance of term education.
