Abstract:The study of context has been of momentous significance not only in linguistic research,literature and art appreciation,but also in language teaching.As a key link in functional teaching method,context analysis has performed its contributions in English teaching.This paper briefly presents the important roles of context analysis in the different courses in teaching comprehensive reading course.
