| Abstract: | This paper expounds the important functions of the construction of periodical database in the modernized service of university library,and points out that relying on selves' man power and material power and having the aid of the network resources for doing well the database building work with the back tracking method are the basic guarantee for perfecting the types of the collected literatures and increasing the ability of the service for readers. |
