一种能有效生成异构平台上FORTH系统的框架

FORTH语言已越来越广泛地用于设计嵌入式软件和固件，但设计过程中通常面临的诸如没有操作系统支持、缺乏调试环境等问题却使得传统的编译FORTH语言的方法遇到了很大的困难，本文针对嵌入式软件开发的实际情况，提出了一种具有良好可移植性和可扩展性、能有效生成异构平台上FORTH系统的框架，该框架被应用于开放式BOOT固件的设计中，取得了良好的效果。

A Framework for Effective Generation of a FORTH System On Heterogeneous Platforms Efficiently

Although FORTH has been used to develop embedded software and firmware extensively, it is still difficult for us to develop FORTH-based software for a brand new processor because traditional technologies for compiling FORTH will meet problems such as lack of support of an operating system and an efficient debug environment. This paper presents a portable and extensible framework that can generate a FORTH system on heterogeneous platforms efficiently. The framework has been proved efficient by applying it to the design of open boot firmware for a new computer.
