| 摘 要： | 英语商务合同是英语在法律语境与商务语境中形成的功能性变体,具有措辞准确、结构严谨及格式规范的特点。从韩礼德语域理论的三个变量———语场、语旨和语式出发,通过具体例子分析英语商务合同在词汇、句法和语篇层面的文体特征,指出语域理论对于解读与撰写英语商务合同具有重要的指导意义。

| Abstract: | As the functional variety formed in legal and business contexts,English business contracts are characterized by accurate diction,terse structure and formal style.Based on Halliday’s three variables of register theory——field,tenor and mode,this article aims to explore the stylistic features of English business contracts in terms of vocabulary,syntax and text,pointing out that register theory plays an important role in understanding and writing of English business contracts. |
