| Abstract: | The main function and characteristics of the weft insertion mechanism suitable for high speed rapier looms are proposed on the basis of kineto-elastodynamic analysis of some typical rapier looms. To meet these requirements, a spatial linkage mechanism with two degrees of freedom used for weft insertion of rapier looms is suggested with all of its kinematic pairs to be designed as rotating joints. |
